Shopping In Hyderabad:
If you are a shopping fanatic, then you can check out the famous Hyderabadi pearls as well as other handicraft items here. Laad Bazaar is a famous marketplace targeted primarily towards women. Here you can find many stores selling gorgeous bangles, pearls, semi-precious stones and other such articles for women.
Be careful if you go shopping in Laad Bazaar. Most of the shopkeepers will quote exaggerated prices. So you need to bargain a lot in order to strike a good deal. They may quote very high prices when they see that you are a foreigner, so be prepared to haggle with them. Most of the shops in this area open late at around 11 AM. They stay open till late in the night (usually till midnight).
The city has a wide variety of goods to offer ranging from pearls, jewelry, handicrafts to leather goods and clothes. Besides Laad Bazaar, there are other famous markets like Begum Bazaar (for buying brass-ware stuff), Sultan Bazaar and Gunj.
Other famous places to visit while you are in Hyderabad are: Birla Planetarium, Shilparamam, Char Minar, Golconda Fort, Osmania University, Salar Jung Museum, Nagarjuna Sagar dam.
